Help needed in picking out an Exhaust for 97 E420
HI,
I am thinking of getting a performanmce exhaust for my 97 E420 and I would like to hear recommendations from someone that did this mod.
I am considering performance exhaust made by AMG, Lorinser, Remus, and Eisenmann.
Which one is the best for my car and why?
Which one will provide the most HP gain but not too loud and at a reasonable price?

HP gains are nil. If any maybe only 2 or 3. You will not notice an HP increase during driving. I added an AMG to my 98 E430 and the exhaust note is barely noticeable. AMG is the mildest sounding. Good Luck!

new exhaust installed
Since no one really made a recommendation I decided on getting a Eisenmann and got it installed yesterday. The noise level it makes is about the same as stock but it has a nicer and deeper tone to it. I am very satisfied with the purchase and I think it does make the car look sportier.
