Hi guys, I have been driving lately my 97 E320 to work and back as I have been racking up the miles on the new C class and it will put me over my lease limit.
The problem is that I have a bad back and at 140K miles that my E320 has on the drivers seat is shot and it causes problems to my back. I have to drive a couple of hours per day like this and its becoming a real issue.
So I have been trying to find a newer gray drivers seat but I had no luck so far. So the question is besides E55 seats which I understand can be swapped, are there any other model seats from newer cars that I can swap?
Also I thought of re doing the stock seat with new foam, but I dont know of any shop at least in the pacific nortwest area that I can trust. Easy to stick some short of foam in there, but the end result is my bad back and If I'm to do this I need to find someone who really knows what they are doing...
