used camber arms found...heim joint replacement
Finding: I am replacing the heim joints on these camber arms, as they had some play. When I went to OffRoadWarehouse they told me that the worn heim joints on the camber arms weren't designed for suspension, and were typically used for lighter use systems, such as throttle linkages. He recommended that I buy the stronger threaded chromoly heim's, which I did.
Questions: For those of you who own camber arms:
(i) do you have these stronger heim joints?
(ii) have you had to replace these joints before?
(iii) anyone ever broken one of these on the road?
Photo:
See attached photo's of the camber arms, I have installed two of the new heim joints on the left, I am going to pickup the other two later today.
