Door Issue "HELP"

I think my lock is bad, on rear passanger side. I had my window regulator changed and now the lock is acting up. The wire that is connected to the door handle will not retract. The wire is pulled in the open position and stuck that way. The door could be opened and closed from outsided. Sometimes it gets stuck closed. Sometimes the door lock won't grab, when closing. When that happens I can't close door till I pull the wire hard a few times. I keep the door panel off till I find a fix. PLEASE HELP

Take the panel off and connect the end of the door release "wire" to the holder (for a lack of a better word). It will be located about 2 inches from the metal "c" hook on the door. This will provide tension.

I think he means make sure the cable is pushed into the retaining clip.

The clip is on the door panel itself, not the door. It's a small squarish and black located about 2-3 inches from where the cable connects to the inside handle. Hook the end of the door cable in the handle, pull in the cable sheathing to expose more of the cable itself and place the cable into the clip causing the sheathing to rest in the clip. This will provide tension to the cable.
