97 E420, whenever I use the turn signal lights left or right, it will NOT blinkg but it will turn on the front and rear signal lights. And it stay on until I put the turn signal control back to center, I also try to push the "hazard lights" on but it will stay on and NO blinking. whats going on ?? please help !!

check your turn signal bulbs first. if all is good it is a flasher relay...if this car even has relays.

i had posted this 'guess' but deleted it because it was from my experience

I would say it's the relay. I'm pretty sure these have relays that's what makes the ticking noise.
