Anyone here own a Mercedes Classic??
I am looking to buy a classic (1970-1975) Mercedes sedan and wanted to find out if anyone here owns any model in the 1970-1975 year range. I have started researching the models and would appreciate pointer on:
1. Websites with detailed information on the sedan models between 1970-1975
2. Specific models that were better than others for these years
I have not been able to find a lot of information using Google search so am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
Cheers

You might want to check the W123 forum for that MY. Also, www.mercedesshop.com and www.benzworld.org have vintage subforums.
Mercedes Benz produces a nice quarterly magazine called Mercedes Benz Classic. There is an english edition which arrives at my local newstand (in US) about 2 mos. after the publication date. It covers models prior to 1984. Usually some good restoration info like dash repair and door seals.
If you can't find it locally, you can go to:
www.mercedes-benz.com/classic-magazin
or email:
mbclassic@zenit-presse.de
Good luck.
