Great independent mechanic in Los Angeles?
Can anyone recommend a performance oriented mechanic here in LA?

2012 CLS63 AMG Performace - Obsidian Black
I've been to German Independent at the 11000 block of Santa Monica- very clean, classy place that doesn't overcharge, and is Mercedes Certified. In San Diego I now go to Southbay Autohaus- just as good.

1999 E300 TD
I bought an E30 from a guy in Glendale that owns a german garage. He mostly does repair, but he has a few really hot german cars around. He doesn't like to talk about it too much unless you're serious, so don't be surprised if he tells you to take a hike.

Jesus Naranja at J&J, San Fernando Rd, Glendale, kinda across from the Rally's and Harley dealer. See what he can offer you. Tell him that I sent you. I bought a delphin grey E30 cabrio from him, then sold it back to him a couple years later.

MB Elite in Newport Beach. A young master mechanic left Fletcher Jones to start his own business 2 years ago. Honest and goes the extra mile to please his customers. Very reasonable and well worth the drive to OC.

OC Benz in Costa Mesa/Newport is the best! always a fair price and never sells me what i do not need. We have been taking our cars there for the last two years. The same guys used to work at another location in Costa Mesa where we took our vehices for the last 7 years.
