Angry Radio doesn't work in the cold!!!

Help. We've had an Alberta Clipper come through and the outside temps dipped to zero. My car is garaged so the radio worked when I went to work in the morning. When I left work at noon, the temperature was up to nine degrees with below zero wind chills and my radio would not work! I have never had that issue with any other car! Even the radio will work on my 300,000 mile Saturn! I thought the over engineered Mercedes could handle some cold temps. It works once it warms up in the garage.

I'm about ready to get rid of the COMAND center. Any ideas. What after market stereos work with the steering wheel controls.

Also there has been a CD stuck in it for months... And we don't use the CD changer...

Freezing in MN...

Wind chill

is only a perception rating for peoples it really has no affect on the radio.
If you garage it at those temps, get a small box ceramic cube heater on a timer and keep the baby warm at night.Goes below that and you want to think about a block heater also.
Lots of double din options out there, can't think of any that allow the wheel controls to tie in.Check the audio section
