engine knocking with 2 codes......

engine knocking with 2 codes......
ok i got this 1996 e320(i think) its a friends car. it has the v6 in it. and from out of nowhere she got a loud engine knock noise coming from it! i drove it around then it started to misfire. so i checked codes and got 2 codes:
p0107 = cylinder 1 missfire
p0301 = bank 1 OL on fuel trim(something like that)
but the one thing that gets me is that engine knock im getting. do you guys think i may need a new engine?

If its got a V6 its at least a 1998, and if it is a 1996 its got the I6 like the ine in my sig w/o the turbo.
Did you fill it up with 87 gas or something? If you have a constant fuel trim error with a lean condition then most likely one or more of your fuel injectors are dead.
The motor also has 2 standard knock sensors, I think if it were truely knocking those would also go off but Im not for certain.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
The
p0301 is the #1 cylinder misfire and the other code is manifold absolute pressure,incorporated into the mass air sensor.First find out what year the car is
