Hi all,
After having my car for around a year and a half. I finally need an alignment.
Just wondering how much they usually cost. I also think I need to rotate my tires. How often should i do so?

I try to rotate my tires every 5,000 miles. These cars require all 4 wheels to be aligned. Don't take it to your local tire store. The alignment needs to be don't by someone who really knows what they are doing. I would recommend taking it to a good independent mechanic or the dealer. The last time I had mine aligned it was around $200.

Been hitting a lot of potholes and damaging suspension parts?
Are various suspension joints worn?
If not, you don't need an alignment.
If so, it's clear you need to go to a dealer, as no one else has Mercedes parts. There's no such thing as a "needed" alignment that doesn't involve replacment of parts.

Several shops
all across the country have the new hunter align machine and can get camber eccentrics just as easily as the dealer for far lower cost.You need not go to the dealer,a hunter machine at a good indie shop will do just as good a job.
