driver window problem

driver window problem
the window as soon as i put it down its fine, but when i go to put it up it goes up down, stops. It will go up only if i hold the window switch in.Any suggestions? It drives me nuts........

Squirt some wd-40 or something similar down the front and rear channels when the window is down. Run the window up and down a couple times. Does this fix it?

Try
syncing the windows.Should help.

Each window
in turn run it all the way down and hold the switch for a few seconds longer after it has gone down then hold the switch to the up position until closed and continue to hold for a few seconds. Repeat with all the windows and the sun roof with the same procedure and that will synchronize them all to operate properly.They fall out of syncro after a battery change,a disconnect of the battery and after a dead battery condition.At least you have the most common solution to begin with now and if it works ,Great.If not keep us posted and more trouble shooting methods can be tried.
