I switched from oem to Bilstein HD's about 120k miles ago, and now that the fronts are starting to leak, I'd like to soften things up a bit.
The models were:
Bilstein OEM- soft, stock ride, designed for stock ride height
Bilstein HD - Heavy Duty, firmer ride, designed for stock ride height
Bistein Sport- Firmer ride, designed for cars that have been lowered, approx. more than 1 inch...
There are other brands, Boge, etc..
When the time comes, will probably be going back to Sachs.

It came with sports suspension and I have always hated the ride I found it to hard, great for going round corners but still a hard ride,
I would like to replace it with a softer suspension I have looked around and come up with bilisteins fronts B362154 standard HD rears B362155 standard HD.
I do relies that the sports is lower by an 1” or more and will I have to change the springs or anything else for that matter any help would be appreciated
