replacement shocks for E430 Sport

hello, I've been seaching the parts sites for shocks for my 2001 E430 Sport. The E430 shocks listed come with the disclaimer "not for sport model". Does anyone have advise on what shocks are compatable for this car?

Many of us have Bilstein HD, which are meant for 1.5" lower springs. In the 90's the Sport designation didn't change the suspension because they were only different on the E55, so it depends on what they did in your model year. (e.g. did they differentiate the suspension by sport or regular)

Edit: and here is a timely group buy at 45% of retail...

Shocks...

"Many of us have Bilstein HD, which are meant for 1.5" lower springs."

ummmm. WRONG INFO!

Bilstein HD is for factory ride height but firmer.
Bilstein sport is for lowered cars.

If you want firmer ride and lower-H&R springs /Eibach springs & Bilstein sport
If you want firmer ride -Bilstein HD
If you want factory ride-Sachs shocks

PM me if you want the factory ride-I have some Sachs shocks for sale.

My bad, I mixed up the HD versus sport.
