Yellow fog light lenses?
Are yellow fog light lenses available for the early w210 (96-99) factory fog lights? If so, where can they be purchased?

In France (a 4-hour drive for me here) they used to have yellow headlights and foglights but I've never seen yellow lenses on ANY W210 and later models. They simply mount yellow coated halogen bulbs. You might still be able to order these overseas but you must make sure the fittings are the same on US-version cars...

yellow fog light is very good decision for safety ride in fog, cause as you know yellow light lift better, unlike white or blue xenon which has a lot of brightness in fog like blindness

Try www.danielsternlighting.com
selective yellow H1 55watt fog bulbs.

If you're trying for yellow fog lamps, the stick-on films don't really tint the light very effectively. You can get good results by removing the fogs, cleaning the lenses *thoroughly*, and spraying them with several coats of Dupli-Color Metalcast yellow, which is a transparent yellow paint product: http://www.duplicolor.com/products/metalcast.html . Let each coat "flash off" (dry most of the way) before applying the next, and use thin coats so you don't get drips and "sags" in the wet paint. With each
successive coat, the yellow tint will grow deeper. Make them about 2 shades deeper than you think looks right, and it'll turn out well in the end. Of course, the coating needs to be permitted to dry and harden completely before you take the fogs out on the road, otherwise dust and grit will become embedded in the still-tacky surface.Install H1 55w bulbs
When done if you want more driving light install 4 of his 65watt rally H7 bulbs in the high and low beam sockets and you will have headlights that let you see at night.

Thanks. One of my fog lenses is broken/missing and I figured I could just replce them both with yellow lenses. I'll just have to buy one lens and later switch to yellow bulbs, as ohlord suggested. I'll also give those rally lights a try in the highbeams, but the lows will be OEM xenon.
I'd also love to switch to LED taillights if I could find a set that matches the early-w210 style...not so much a fan of the later clear or smoked turn signals on a green car. Between front parking lights and taillights, this car must have eaten up at least 25 bulbs over it's 240k miles of use thus far.

To follow OH Lord's paint suggestion: Spray the inside of the lens and not the outside for best effect and for lasting film. Otherwise paint on the outside of glass will chip and break from road rash and look like crap PDQ. This is because the glass has no give to it and paint will not have a cushion to absorb energy of rock hits like a urethane bumper would. Good luck.

I wonder what happens if you happen to break a lens on one of those...might have to call and see if they have replacement lenses?
Good tip on painting the lenses. Will post results if I go that route.
