20's in lowerd w210
a harsh ride. depending on a whole host of factors you've not identified in
your specs, inside and outside tire clearance, wheel bearing stress, increase
shock (and potential suspension) wear may also result.
suggest you proceed with caution. try to ride/drive one similarly equipped to
see whether or not you'd still be enamoured with 20s. *use* the following
sizing engines....

235's and 275's 18's on 31et and 35et rear et are about max and it will look right and ride right if you lower it and spend the money on the front camber kit and the rear camber links you will be needing besides just the spring kit and the new shocks matched to them.
also don't forget to budget in the wheel alignment.
things being equal, your rims are much more likely to become damaged
so factor in repair costs. also, if tire damage results, replacing them will
cost a lot more than 18s.
i rode in a new Audi which came with 19" and it was super smooth. of course,
it was designed at the factory to support this size so it was a well balanced
suspension system.

and they would fit correctly.Spending thousands on rims is fine if you realize out front that you will someday in the future sell them for pennies on the dollar.Or less
