210 window frame trim....
I don't have the correct part number or description for these things. This is the glossy trm piece that would fit on each of the 4 doors of a 210 (rear of the front glass, forward of the rear glass, if that makes sense). This is a friend's car, a 2000 if it matters. They are absolutely rusted like I have never seen before. They appear to come of with a small philips fastening screw. Anyone experienced this or have a good fix? Looked for some on ebay, I'm guessing it's something you wouldn't want to part out as you'd need it for a complete door....

Contact the dealer or the salvage yard like potomac. You can get the Avante Gard pieces new from the european dealers but they are very pricey like 700-900$ pricey. I do not know about the standard US versions on cost. They are called B pillar covers.

Just left the dealer....
they are "ornamental frame covers". Not as ridiculous as I expected, about $60 each. I"m sure the really expensive ones are for E55.
