Creaking noise from rear?
Wierd noise for sure.
Sounds like a creaking noise, it's coming from the rear shelf/window area. It happens when one wheel goes over an evlevation change and the other doesn't.
Perfect example is when going over diagonal speed bumps. When the first rear wheel goes over the bump, I hear a loud creak, then another when it comes down. Same with the other wheel.

Had the same thing- when I replaced the rear shocks (actually all four) it went away. If you've got 80K+, consider replacing with Bilsteins or KYBs- they're not that expensive and quite easy to install.

I just put in bilsteins 10k ago.
It's not the shocks. It only happens when on of the rear tires is raised. When both are raised, no sound.
Honestly, sounds like something is flexing. I will have someone drive the car while I am in the backseat/trunk to find out where it's coming from.
