Fog lamp replace_remove_going cool
Sorry for the stupid question......can't find it in manual.
The 2 fogs on the lower bumper section, not accessable through engine bay.......how does a guy get to them, and what is the lamp # in there anyway?
I just changed my city light lamps over to LED and now the fogs are the yellow eye-sore

My apologies.....I did Search before posting.....& now I'm looking some more.
2001 E55 has the round fog lenses of course.
I am unfamiliar with a 'splash panal door' but will look again tonight for a 'door'......I am apparently missing.
Still think it's unusual the bulb # and access info is not found in the manual.

If you get under the car there is one "door" under each fog light in the panel under the bumper/radiator.
Turn the locks to the side and it's open. From there you can access the back of the foglights to change bulbs.
The original fog lamps use H1 55W. not sure about the AMG lamps though....
