How to remove interior storage compartment
Hi
I'm managed to remove the radio from my E320 but I need to remove the storage compartment underneath the radio, you know the one that has a door and you can put your cell phone etc in it. I don't see any screws. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I did this myself some time ago, and If I remember correctly you have to remove the ashtray. to remove the ashtray you have to remove the wood around the gear.

With the
radio out just depress the tab on the cubby and pull it out.
With the radio in per above,remove the wood surround the shifter by lifting up at the rear of the wood by the open cup holder.Remove the 2 screws at the base of the ash tray,pull out the ash tray,reach up over the back of the cubby and push on the tab and pull the unit.
