01 e430 4matic

Bulb Malfunction??????

Hey guys, I just purchased a 01 e430 4matic and I love it so far ... Just one thing.

The right side of my lights the small circular one, fog light and the back light are not working, the sensor says bulb malfuntion .. now when I hit the breaks the back lights works, I signal it works, Emergency lights it works, but it just dosent seem to be working when you switch it on for everyday usage at night...

Do I need to just replace the bulb or could it be electrical?

Any help is most appreciated, I dont know tht much in regards to this car..

always check fuses first they are located on heavy paper in the fuse boxes by the battery,under the hood and next to the steering wheel lamp switch behind a little door on the side of the dash.,then
city light in the small oval H6W about 7 bucks at the dealer.
want more light H7 65 watt rally bulbs from www.danielsternlighting.com

I REALLY APPRECIATE IT, BEING THIS IS MY FIRST BENZ. I HAD NO CLUE!

I'M THINKING IT COULD BE THE FUSE BECAUSE, THE REAR BACK LIGHT DOSENT TURN ON, BUT WHEN I HIT THE BREAKS IT WORKS FINE, SO IM ASSUMING ITS NOT THE BULB.

What do I check for? what wires? I'm not sure???

Just replace the bulbs that don't light up and that should fix your issues
