Question CD changer compatibility

wonder if MC3520 CD changer would work in my 2000 E430? The original CD changers model was MC3198 and it stopped working last week. I was hoping to upgrade to MC3520 which plays MP3.

i dont have notes for that model but I think that was made not for D2B rather
to be compliant with MOST connectivity standards. if so, it would not work
with your head unit. but this is an educated guess from my keyboard.

i think you'll need to stick with D2B MC3010, MC3011, MC3198 changers

Does it play mp3 or does it play audio cd with mp3s as source?
How many minutes can you press onto a 700MB disk?

If it really plays mp3 you can burn it however you want. don't need itunes to burn a data disk.

For W210 up to MY02, MC3198 or MC3010 CD changer will work, the MC3520 for MY06-07, it will not work with earlier year electronic.
