Looking at w210s

Steering column

Looking to buy my first W210 (moving up from E36s and UrS4s) and have found what I think is a clean example, but as I turn the steering wheel (pretty sure in only one direction) I feel a slight resistance (like from 5 to 25 degrees), almost as if something is slightly rubbing.

Does this sound like a big issue to anyone? Comments are much appreciated.

Also (probably an impossible question) how much difference is there (assuming good mtce in all cases) between a W210 with 50k, 80k, or 105k miles?
