Too good to be true?
would be low use. MBs do not hold their value well so don't think you're
getting a steal. it's not. but it's not a rip off either. just so so.
my 99 E320 has 59k miles. richard's E320 (00 or 01) has only about 7k miles
How bout an ML320 2001 with 84000 for 11500?
What I'm looking for is safety and reliability in that order.
Either its been wrecked or it was owned by some one who never drove it, right?
Thoughts?
If you're in L.A I know a place that has a 2000 e430 sport for 10,500....
I wouldn't pay more than 7-8k for a e320...

The only way it would be worth even 11k would be if it was totally serviced, trans fluid, oil, brakes, new rubber, fresh plugs, diff, etc.

p.s. xenons add squadusch to the price of a used benz.
Some young guy up by me just had to have a w210 2000 sedan last summer, his finance wanted one.
dealer said they were worth 17,999 but would let him have it for internet special 15,999They sure let him have it,and you know where

hardball no,cash ball yes.
I could locate one, inspect it,service it,all tsb's and fluids, tune, modify and deliver one for touusands less than 14K.They are dreaming and reality will set in sooner or later.Or maybe they will find a chump like the dealer above found, who will pay far to much for his whistle.A pox on them if that happens

i would rather pay 10-11k for a 2001 e320 in great condition with 70-80k miles with proof of all fluids/parts being changed, than to pay 5-6k for it without records of anything getting done, and end up spending thousands just the first year to keep up with maintainance or ending up buying a new transmission and having big headaches.
from what i have seen w210 in great condition with regular maintainance done on them don't sell for less than 10-11k. dealers keep them for $12-15k, and private owners sell them for $10-13k.
