Multicontour seat leak/hiss
My multicontour (air bladder) seat makes a hissing noise when I sit in it after it's been sitting for an hour or more. Once I am actually in the seat with the engine on, the noise stops. The noise appears to be coming from the control unit (where you actually make the adjustments) rather than from a hose or bladder within the seat.
Is this behavior normal, so long as it stops when the ignition is on? Where can I find more information (or a part number) for the control unit? I am debating taking it appart to see if any of the barbs are leaking.
Thanks

That is perfectly normal. I have seen it -- heard it, that is -- in my W208 and at least four W210s with MC seats I have had the honor to plant the bottom of my pants in. Among the latter were two brand new ones, and there was never an issue later. So I am fairly confident you do not need to worry as long as the hissing stops when the engine is running.
