2012 CLS63 AMG Performace - Obsidian Black
One hood latch not latching
Hey all- well, here's an annoying one. Today, for some odd reason, the lower catch (under the part that grabs the hood c-loop) on the left side hood latch does not extend far enough up, in its rest position, for the closing hood to latch with it.

Am I forced to buy a new one, or are there adjustments here? Thanks...

Same here it worked one day and not the next....mine had to be replaced...the metal had worn and NO adjustments were working for me...I think it was like 17 bucks.

I ran into that a couple weeks ago. I gave the mechanism a good dousing with wd40 and it's been working fine since.

Ohlord. Exactly.

Hey- have you ever changed one out- It looks like the cable end with the lead ending just pops out, but I could be wrong...
