gear change speed
I have always thought to my self the tiptronic is very late to react .. is this a fault, or is it just the transmisions normal nature.. can anything be done to improve it?

mine does the same thing. if you are under full throttle it will take it a second or two to change gears because there is no clutch but if your not under full throttle and shift around say 3000 rpms it will shift right away

Mine's late too, but you learn to adapt I guess...have you tried the ECU reset after the drive-by-wire has "learned" your "regular driving" habits?
I tend to forget the difference it makes if I don't do it for awhile. I guess it won't necessarily help the tip's reaction time, but you might notice a difference in throttle response.

Do a tcu reset and it will up the shift points and modulation pressure.Wakes up the trans like a quick kick in the ***.

Oh Lord or Aanybody, Do you know if the sensitivity to the tiptronic can be adjusted? I pull left all the way to downshift and just nudge right to upshift. It feels off center. Thoughts oh wise one?
