Will 00 W210 Drivers Seat fit a 01 ?
The leather on my driver’s side seat is damaged and I have been able to locate a seat from 2000 W210. Can someone kindly confirm if the seat from a 00 will fit a 01? I will probably end up replacing the whole seat although only the bottom cushion area is damaged.
Also – Can someone point me in the direction to get instructions on swapping the seat?

nearly a no brainer.
there is a plastic cover which routes the seat belt...down low near the seat
pivot. single bolt. remove and set aside.
each of the 2 rail has single bolt into the floor. slide fully rear. remove front
bolts.
slide fully forward. at the end of each rail is a plastic cover which inserts
into, and lock onto the rail. slide off. remove bolts.
unplug ganged electrical plugs from beneath the front of the seats. note
carefully which is up, as I recall the 'big' one can be accidentally plugged
in backwards.
tilt and carefully maneuver the chair out of the car.
10-15 mins...but hell, who's counting? be methodical and careful.
