Why buy

a car with parts not working?
Wiper stalk could be bad, wiper relay located by ecu could be bad, wires could be shorted. You are going to need to take it to someone and pay something.Find an indie mb shop it will be lots cheaper than the dealer.

the stalk

that operates the switch on the steering column.
www.benzworld w210 diy section has procedures to repair.
Have you triedputting voltage to the motor and seeing if you can narrow down the issue?

do u know or have read a post with diy info on re sotering some wiresi saw a post that had that info but can't find it on that post they talk about some wire not making contact and there is some re sotering to do to get the wiper to work i'm almost sure thats whats wrong. The stalk is sending power to the relay cuz when u turn it on it clicksthe power is not making it past the that pointfrom the relay to wiper motori swaped some of the relays around andi am going to try to pull out the box or fues that holds the relay and cheack for that or some thing like it
