How much gas left?

Just curious, I'm new to the car. How low can the needle go?

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
When the light

goes on , reserve is about 2 gallons or 45 miles at combined speeds.
Don't top off the tank after you see how low you can go.

I guess that's what I'm really asking, I know the reserve is 2 gallons, but when do you start to actually consume the reserve? When the needle is at 0?

I sometimes drive in very sparsely populated areas so I want to know these kind of things! I almost ran out of gas with my previous car twice.

On my 99 I would have one gal left with my needle where yours is shown and would have traveled ~610 miles on that tank at that point......

Get to "0" and you better be in the slow lane keeping an eye open for a safe place to coast to a stop at.
