Drivers Seat
My drivers side seat's switch will not push the seat back. Every single other switch works (up, down, etc.). When i press the memory seating switch, the seat goes back. The passenger side seat's switch fully works in every direction.
Could it be a fuse or possibly a connection?
Thanks.
You didn't say if the seat moves forward with the switch. If it does, move the seat all the way to the front and hold the switch forward for 2 or 3 seconds after the seat stops. This worked for resetting the seat operation in my car. It can't hurt to give it a try.
Good Luck

seat adjusts. there are 3 possible memory settings for different drivers
and passengers. to set, press the M button, along with the corresponding
number (either 1, 2 or 3) to store the setting. thereafter, just press the
numbered button to restore the saved settings.
that said, however, the memory settings should not result in the interme-
diate stop settings you're encountering during seat move back. In other
words, I do not think there is a nexus between the seat anamoly you've
described, versus the memory buttons.
That being said, when I hit the previously set memory buttons from when I bough the car the seat does go back and adjust but for no other reason it does not do this when using the adjustment buttons? Who knows, the great mystery of the pyramids, huh? lol.
Problem: Seat will only move forward when you try to move the seat back even when trying to push the switch backwards. Seat will move backwards when one of the memory presets are used.
This has been asked many times before but no answers yet. Is it the switch? BTW, how do you remove the switch to inspect it? do you need to remove the entire door liner?
Any answers would be appreciated.
