Turn Signal Flasher
Does anyone know where the turn signal flasher modules are located. I'm thinking of switching to all led and will probably need to correct the fast flash.

You will need to do more than that, because your failed light indicator will come on since LEDS draw less current than incadescent bulbs. Most Led bulbs need a resistor in series to fool the circuitry.

And
most all the led bulbs on the market are all but invisible when installed in stock buckets. Be prepared to have someone run into you when they fail to see the dim leds.
Fast blinking and lamp malfunction warnings are the least of your worries.

Using the right spec'd resistor will get the flashing speed correct. From memory (been a while since I did mine), the bulb out warnings won't come on with just the LED bulb but you will need a resistor to correct the speed - so there's no real need to know where the modules are at. I did my front indicators as I got tired of the orange coating on the bulbs flaking off inside the headlight housing. The resistor you need depends on the specs of the bulb used, so I cannot really tell you which one to use - I found mine by trying out a few resistors. Good luck!
Multi-LED/multi directional orange LEDs will work quite nicely but Ohlord is correct - the wrong bulb will be less visible than the conventional bulbs. Make sure you get ones with as many LEDs and with some pointing to the side to get the best results.

Peter, you dont get the Lamp failure warning with the turn signal bulbs, if one is out they just flash faster.
I would like to just change the flasher to one that is made for led bulbs intead of having resistors all over the place. I already have them for my city lights. But If I have to that is what Ill do.
And I promise I wont be driving around with super-dim brake/taillights. I'm looking for improvements, not to spend a bunch of money on somthing that isnt as good. There are some good ones out there that are brighter, or atleast will apear brighter than the incandescents that are in there now.

I don't have LEDs......just a defective flasher (I think). The 4ways work fine and emit the usual sound from behind the instrument cluster. I removed it to be sure and looked for a second flasher while I was there....no such luck. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
