oil coming out from the oil filter cap thing

oil coming out from the oil filter cap thing

What can cause that? Oil is seeping out from the oil filter cap thing...i replaced all the rubber rings that came with the filter.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Check

the o rings the seal and that the filter was fully seated in the cap. then check proper cap torque.

i have the same problem with my car, oil is leaking .. i checked the enginewhere the oil is leaking & i notice theres some oil droplet near my alternator , serpentine belt , fan blade... so i think is the cap as what ohlord sugested

would you know whats the proper cap torque ??

The plastic oil FILTER cap gets torqued to 25N*m (~20Ft*lbs) and should be stamped rignt in the plastic cover itself.

The Big O ring for the cap was snapped I have no idea how but i bought another cheap filter 6.99 fram on sale at kragen but i didnt use the filter(mine was OEM from the dealer) i just use the o rings LOL.....
