Taking car in for paint work
I have some minor rust on the doors as well as the trunk lid of my E300. One door is starting to show and I could only see small bubbles on the rest of the doors. But, I thought it would be best to get rid of it all before it becomes a big problem. Here are some before photos. I'll be attaching some after photos once it is ready to go. I'm also having the body shop add some AMG side skirts to the car which should make it turn out real nice.

Yep. The paint is original. The paint is in great shape, and I'm sure I could let it go for another year or so without fixing the rust. But I didn't want the rust to get too far along.

The car is back. I'm very pleased with the outcome. Here's what was painted:
-All four doors
-AMG side skirts painted and installed
-Rear bumper valance
The car looks almost brand new!

Congrats! Looks like they did a good job. I love those side skirts they make the car look more modern than the typical black running along all are e class's.
