Seat Adjustments and Power Windows
I searched the forume and could not find any specific information on the cause of the Seat Adjustment and power window failure for both the driver and passanger side. The driver's side stoped first with both the window and seat adj. not working then the passanger a day or so later seat adj and window as well.
Also, my SRS light has been on for the majority of the time eversince I bought the car 6 months ago.

No luck
I tried to unplug the battery cables for a while and found out that that fixes the problem for about a day or so until the power functions on both driver and passanger side still don't work...
plese any info would be aprreciated..

I had the power window, mirror and seat controls on the driver's side stop working in my E300 and it turned out to be a failure of the CAN BUS controller in the right rear door. Check your CAN bus system for faults. My local guru diagnosed and fixed it in a couple of hours. ~$300 fix.
