Great when cold, misfiring when warm?

I have been having a few issues with 97 E420 lately. When the car is cold (after start up & when outside air is below 55) it rips, seriously the car gets up and moves out very well for its size and weight but when warm i feel like i am driving a 4 cylinder. I can feel it sputtering and misfiring but no codes? Anyone ever have any issues like this?

I ordered a new fuel filter, air filter, and will be cleaning out the maf in the next weekend but can you guys think of anything else?

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Cats or o2 sensors

going bad will as the engine temp goes up and they come to temp will affect the closed loop operation of the ecu engine management. You most likely need to replace the o2 sensors since they are 100k maint items anyway and have cat function checked on a real time scanner.
