I used to have a pic of a BLack E class with a flat hood emblem and an aftermarket grill with the star in the grill. Does anyone have a pic of this? Thanks.

Hank

Would you just do the flat hood emblem and leave it at that?

I checked with the company and they said that they can't advertise the grill with the Star because of the copyright laws. I am supposed to be getting and picture of a customers car with the Grill and flat hood emblem.

That's exactly what I did. The star makes everything look too cluttered. Plus the star is dinky, and everyone already knows it's a Mercedes. Don't need to have the star exposed for everyone to see in their rearview.

ahhhhhh...............not a big fan of that huge star grill, in my opinion it looks out of place and kind of loud and tacky on most Benzes, especially on sedans. But then again to each his own. And as Hank said everyone knows it's a Mercedes so there is no need to scream it.

I actually havent gotten anyting for it yet. I am still dealing with the sunroof that will not retract. It does open vertically though. I am also watching the oil because. It had what looked like water in it. I changed that last week and had not driven it since thurs. I chaked the oil today and it looked fine. I started the car and let it sit and warm up to temp. I checked and it looked ok still.
