I have been contemplating cleaning my engine bay,but the fear of using water and cleaners in the area had me concerned. Well I finally did it, and the engine area is clean and shiny like new..........pic attached.

My procedure might sound a little crazy but this is what was done:
1) Used my Craftsman leaf blower/vac to blow out and clean the area
2) I sprayed P21S Total Auto Wash over the area and let it sit for 5 minutes
3) Rinsed the area thoroughly using a garden hose
4) Used the leaf/blower vac again to blowout excessive water
5) Wipe the area down
6) Spray Aeropsace 303 Protectant to cover the entire area and gently wipe it down for a clean shiny even spread
Here is a formal write up I had referenced: http://www.properautocare.com/howdoiclandd.html

Thanks ohlord.
Any recommendations on the polish I can use to shine up the intake ? I will have the brake fluid changed shortly.
