Did a search, nothing. Weapons locker.
I was going through WIS a few weeks back, doing some work to a 210. I noticed there was a document, showing a dealer install into the trunk.. a lockable, iron, weapons locker/safe. Installed near the spare tire well..
I have not been able to find any information and/or pictures of this. Please note, no illegal activities are going on. It is completely legal in Texas to have a firearm in vehicle loaded, even in the passenger cab.. So the trunk is no issue. Especially for a CHL holder.
Any input would be great!

I've seen a reference to it. I believe it was included with a document on what items could be retrofitted after sale such as heated seats, Parktronic, etc. Maybe somewhere on EPC online? Sorry that's all I've got. Good luck.

Yes, it's a safe lock
It's been on the options list for many years. It makes it almost impossible for the rear deck lid to be forced open. I learned about it and saw one back in the days of the W124. Like many other Mercedes options - Americans have no right to get them. ![Confused](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
