windows dead
Ok, so last night my wife spilled some green tea on the center console . We tried to dry as much as we could but now the windows won't work.
This morning I took everything apart, dried and cleaned all the circuits but still nothing. The switches light up but the windows nor the mirror adust keys don't work.
Do I need to disconnect the battery to reset itself or is there something else that I'm missing besides that the circuits might have fried?

try the amg forums. we only got straight and v-6 and some baby 8cyl's over here in the 320-420-430 slums...and you /wife/ should never use the drink holders...

MBWorld Fanatic!
Clean with crc mass air sensor cleaner. No residue
then aim a fan down on it.
you can try a battery reset and then resync all your windows and steering wheel sensor.
You may luck out if not you will need a new complete module with the switches.
pm me.
At least you did not toast the shift module and lose shift ability

I tried drying it with a hair dryer for a while but it didn't work. I'm hoping it'll dry out on its own in a couple of days. the weird thing is that after a couple of hours of it getting wet, they worked for a couple of seconds, then died. Also the lights still work?
