front wheel bearing replacement
ok guys, I have it torn down to the hub assembly, spindle is still on the car. I am having trouble getting the cover off where the bearings are, dust cap.... so I just need to beat it off or is there another way I am not trying. any help is appreciated!!

a few tars
along the edge with a screw driver blade get it in enough to pry it off.
Or you can get the cupped cap pliers and they will lift it off easily.

DON'T
hammer it off. You need it to seat fully and seal the new bearing from dirt.

Claws of a hammer in grooves with a 1" spacer behind the head of the hammer to lever it off.
How are you planning to measure end play after installing the new bearings?
