Ball joints?
hi everyone, mechanic told me that i need to change ball joints in my 1999 e430 he is asking $460 plus tax is that a fair price. thanks guys

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Hd ball joints
both sides about 55bucks. $400 labor is crazy.
Diy on benzworld.org w210 diy section and then get it aligned at the dealer or a shop with a hunter align machine.
Or if not up to the diy shop around for a mb indie shop that won't screw you.

or are you taking his word for it?

Experienced
about an hour per side.
Novice maybe 2 per side.
Shop book rate less than an hour per side.That makes your mechanic about $200 an hour shop around
