Amazing man! How much was the cost if you don't mind me asking? How hard was the swap? Did you had to manufacture a lot of custom parts?
I come from BMW world, where this kind of swaps are common, but doing it in W210 that's a first! A lot of respect to you man!

Honestly setting the engine in and making the mounts was the easiest part. It was all the other things and special pieces like cooling hoses from a chevy so i could connect my hot water circulating pump for my heat, and running all the wire integrating everything in from toyota to mercedes so the alternator would work and the ac would work making hoses for the power steering. cutting everything up front so the intercooler would fit as if it were factory and rerouting the ac lines so i could accomodate for it.

The truth is i could have just slapped it in there and bolted it down like everyone else does, but theres only a few people that make it look like a factory install like i have done. If you see my engine compartment in person you really think it came from the factory like that its really amazing.. but its taken me almost 2 years of ordering little pieces and going to the hardware store.

In the end it will be all worth it because i will have a very reliable daily driver and a fast one at that! its what mercedes benz should have done with there 104 motor all along is slap a couple of turbos on it and it would have ruled the market like the 2jz did

Oh yeah i think right now my cost is right at the 7500 dollar range by the time i pay my body man to repaint it and fix all the rust, do a six speed swap and diff swap it will be in the 12-15k range but if i added all my labor to it damn i dont even know like 35 grand haha

'12 Mustang 5.0, '89 Supra Turbo, C55,
Just want to say OMG!! Many folks here don't realize the power of the 2JZGTE. They think it will cost $$$ for mods, because that's the way MB mods cost. The Supra motor will take 700 hp w/o any fortification. Unlike my 7MGTE which is known for BHG's which is rectified by installing an aftermarket MHG, (and one 7MGTE owner made over 1,000 hp highlighted in the latest import magazine, albeit highly fortified) the 2JZ (and 1JZ) came with MHG's preventing this problem, and Toyota simply "overengineered" the 2JZ. I cannot stress how easy it is to get 500 WHP with these motors and they are bulletproof. If one does not believe me, check out

www.supraforums.com

I wish you lots of luck. You have a dream which is becoming a reality. An MB saloon with a 2JZ will run forever with gobs of power and a manual transmission!!! Its the best combination if you ask me. I wish I had your skills.

Your numbers will be objective, and will make the naysayers believers!!

Best of luck!!!

Thank you very much

So far I've put about one hundred miles on it and i just have to say its amazing! As soon as that second turbo comes online its like hitting the nitrous button and you hit 75 80 before you know whats going on.

I havent been driving it daily due to the weather, but i highly recommend the swap if you have the patients!

I agree with you except dont think its 100% bulletproof. Its very well designed(German designed for people who did not know that) and sprinked with reliablibilty. I have a friend in Florida with a 700RWHP Supra and its alot of problems. Its left the track on a flat bed a couple of times. Nothing is a guarantee. No doubt this 210 is a bullet proof car but with more modifications your subjected to less reliablility as has been shown plenty of times before.

haha, awesome project and GREAT WORK!

DIY well done stuff right there, so many little problems to overcome and get it all finished up, reminds me of my LS1 V8 T56 6speed swap into an '87 RX7 that later went widebody and was insane fun.

nice car and love it every day, it has to be a total riot to drive like a maniac.
+1 for the 18" wheels
