my 02 e430 4matic stays in second gear only
anybody know why ,engine light on ,pulled connector ,had fluid in it,cleaned out ,cleared codes,still not fixed,told trans comp. bad ,but how do you know?trans computer is A0305452332,MAYBE LOOKING FOR ONE ..HELPPP

Did you
replace the electrical connector on the side of the trans when you cleaned out the tcu?
DIY on www.benzworld.org w210 diy section.
Then do a battery disconnect and resync all systems to see if the car goes out of limp mode.

1999 210 4matic / 2011 W204 C300 sport
cleaning the connectors are only temp . fix . you wants to find out where the oil are coming from . in most cases it is sucking from the loose relucter plate inside the valve body.

ok so do i replace with new connector and computer?if so ,i found a used one,all the numbers are same except the 5WP20005HB ,MINE IS 5WP20005BB.DOES THAT MAKE A DIFFERANCE?
