Question Install Right-Rear Foglight - 98 E320 Sedan

Can anyone tell me if it is easily possible to install a fog light in the right-rear location? I have a 98 E320 Sedan. I know the blank would need to be popped out. Wondering if the socket is wired for a light. Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

Why would you want to do that? It would look like you were riding the brake, and when you really did apply the brakes, there would not be as clear of indication that you did so. If you really are driving in conditions where you feel one rear fog is not enough...perhaps you should turn on the flashers.

Agreeing with Figuero; there is only one rear foglight for a good reason and he just told you what that is.

Red face

Thank you. I needed the opinions from others as to the reasoning. My wife... I can tell her a tree needs to be pruned and she won't believe me. Some yahoo shows up holding a shovel, says the same thing and he's a genius. I guess I will stick with working in IT. Of course, I own 3 chainsaws and know how to use them...

I'd love to have both of them so I could use two rear fog's to alert those A**** that ride my bumper occasionally. And no, the socket is not wired for it.

Even turning the one on usually gets there attention pretty quick.
