Interior lighting

Anybody do any interior lighting changes? Swapping some colors to make it look nicer? I did a search but barely found anything. I was looking to change some colors on the doors, ceilings, and maybe the buttons in the car depending on the difficulty.

I've seen button color changes done here. Also, you might look for footwell lighting or door sill lighting.

MB actually sells some Wordmark door sills that have a blue light. (Part No. B6 689 01 47) for fronts only -46 for a set of 4. Someone out here put a set on a while back. Not too difficult as I recall.

Interesting, I'd like to see this button color change. For door sill lighting, are you talking about the illuminated door sills or another thing entirely?

$46? That sounds like a good price to me. Where could I find them?

Curb your enthusiasm!

I meant that the final two digits of the part number is 47 for the front two and 46 for all four. You can get them at the dealer. If I had to guess I'd say in the $200-$300 range.

Yes, I was thinking of illuminated sills. You can find various stuff written on them.

I think the button color changes used either bulb condoms or LED replacement bulbs. You can search here and Benzworld for more.

One of the German members of this page (I think axl or something like that) changed the lights in his switches to red. He also changed his car from black to white. There are also some threads in the W208 section about interior light changes and instrument cluster mods. You might want to search over there too.
