Chrome A/C Vents
Guys,
I am looking for a few fitment pictures of the chrome a/c vents in a w210.
I know of the chrome ones sold on ebay and at performanceproducts4benz.com. I can’t tell if they are different.
I intend to paint them piano black to complement the trim in my car, but I am cautious on the fit and finish of the aftermarket parts.
Does anyone have pictures of the a/c/ vents installed?

The ones I have seen were a plastic base, chrome coating and clear outer film. The question would be whether the solvents in the paint would attack the outer film. At the very least I would buy as small an item as possible and test.
