Dealer Service Items
1) Lower Ball Joints (Boots Torn)
2) The outer tie rod boots are torn
3) Lower control arm bushing cracked
I always buy the parts for my W210 from autohausaz.com and have my indy mechanic do the work, but have a few questions before I order the parts:
Q1 I had changed the Ball Joint; Front Lower Left/Right in Oct 2009. Do I need to order something new to address the torn boots or this is just a dealer sales pitch, as I can't believe the new lower ball joints are torn in a matter of 5 months ?
Q1 Outer tie rod boots are torn - Do I need to order 2 tie Rod End; Inner Left/Right at Steering Rack; Without Tie Rod End + Tie Rod End; Left and Right Outer with Ball Joint to fix this issue ?

Q2 To fix the cracked lower control arm bushing - Do I need to order
* 2 Control Arm Bushing; Rear Outer Left/Right at Rear Bearing Knuckle
* Or 2 Control Arm Bushing Kit; Front Lower Inner Left/Right (Part #2103300475)
Please advise so I am clear on the parts that need to be ordered. I will have the alignment addressed the moment these parts are installed.
Cheers

Always get a second opinion when suspension parts are called into question by the dealer.Esp when you just had some recently replaced.
Why did you have it at a dealer for tires anyway?
Have you no Costco?
Are you a glutton for punishment

I took it to the dealer as Costco or other local tire shops don't want to do the alignment as I have AMG staggered wheels.
Cheers
