According to this page:

It's located at the rear passenger. I'm assuming this correct, so maybe there's a start? Look for it somewhere around the axle, bearings, etc.

what's the error code, p0715? if the code is in the p07xx range than it's the transmission speed sensors located in the conductor plate. pretty common failure for early 722.6 tranny. did you read reply i made on benzworld? read the tranny stickies on bw w210 section, loubapache has a detailed protocol for replacing the conductor plate. price is around $200, you need to drain the fluid, drop the pan, and replace the conductor plate. http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w210...ml#post3538903
if car drives fine after restarting or erasing error code, than you can drive the car for now, and if problem reappears then you need to replace the conductor plate. what was the error code? is car still in limp mode?

Tirona is right, there is no single vehicle speed sensor for your vehicle. Most likely its with your transmission(input/output shaft speed sensors). That link shows a abs sensor for one wheel there are four of those on your vehicle, not gonna fix you problem. Chheck back with codes.
