guys got any ideas as to how i can get my cluster working w210 96 mod. speedo, rev meter fuel and temp gages all dead the revs just vibrate up an down but sumtimes the whole thing works i dont get it

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere or a cracked contact on- or in the cluster. Did you remove the unit to checks things out?

Ya, mine did the same.........had to get a new one.

If everything is off/on then it sounds like a short to ground someplace. You might try disconnecting the battery (for 15min) and while it's disconnected, pull the cluster and reseat the connectors. It's a long shot but doesn't cost much.

Be sure you have the radio code before disconnecting power.
