Tires size

Hello everyone,

the current tires on my car 2000 E430 Sport is 225/40/18 all around, could I upgrade to 245/40/18 or 245/45/18 without rubbing or rolling the fender. If I must roll the fender, how much does it cost (I am in San Diego).

I have 8" wide rim then I could run
245/40/18 all around.

Your sport already has fenders rolled.

I have 8" wheels on big fat 245/40 18 Bridgestones all the way around on my lowered E430 Sport with never a problem.

Don't worry....just do it. Looks great, handles much better.

I know for a fact my 2000 Sport has rolled fenders. Not 100% sure that '99s are. Did your car come with 8" x 17" wheels from the factory? If so, I am sure they are rolled.

Feel around the inside of the wheel wells and you can tell. They will be smooth and slightly flat, unlike most stock fender lips.

If your fenders are not rolled then stick with 235/40/18.
